Tobin Anderson and Ben Davis Land Head Coaching Jobs


Former Siena assistant coach Tobin Anderson has landed a new role as the head coach of St. Thomas Aquinas College, a Division II school located in Sparkill, NY (Rockland Co.). He served the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Siena under former head coach Mitch Buonaguro,

Anderson takes over as the 5th head coach of the Spartans who finished last season with a record of 5-23, 5-13 in the East Coast Conference. This is his third head coaching role having previously led Clarkson (1999-2004) and Hamilton (2004-2011). He has a 185-129 career record.

We have also heard that another former Siena assistant Ben Davis will take over as head coach at Mt. Ida College, a Division III school located in Newton (MA). Davis will lead the Mustangs who are coming off a 7-18 season, 3-15 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.

After serving as assistant coach at Siena, Davis will take on his first head coaching role. Prior to Siena he was a lead assistant at D-2 Stonehill College in Easton, MA (2008-11) and D-3 Nichols College in Dudley, MA (2007-08).
