Santa To Visit The Saints

Siena Women’s basketball is holding a fun event, the Blue Shield of Northeastern New York “Kid’s Day” Game, tomorrow, Wednesday, December 21st at 11 a.m. at Siena’s Alumni Recreation Center. Siena will take on A-10 team, UMass (3-8) in a non league contest.  The game is part of one of Siena’s many community outreach programs, Adopt-A –School, in which members of both the Women’s and Men’s team will be visiting participating schools on January 11th.

All kids 13 and under will be admitted for free to the game and can participate in fun and educational activities, including an appearance by one of Siena’s biggest fans, Santa Claus.  According to Siena’s athletic department there are 10 Capital Region-area schools participating with nearly 1.500 students confirmed to be attending so far.

Along with this event,  the kids are invited to attend the men’s basketball game vs. Saint Peter’s on February 3 as part of GE Kid’s Get in Free Day.
