Siena (6-18, 4-9) is coming off a 61-53 loss to Loyola on Friday night. The Saints held the game within reach for the first 30 minutes vs. the defending MAAC champions before a 10-0 Greyhound run created separation between the two teams. Plagued by foul trouble and an early game injury to Evan Hymes, Siena was unable to recover.

In the earlier matchup against St. Peter’s, Siena played well defensively and made 27 of 36 free throws to fuel the win. OD Anosike finished with 20 points including 12-17 FT’s. Rakeem Brookins scored 18 points and Evan Hymes added 12.

Hymes who left Friday’s game with a thigh injury did not practice on Saturday and his status for Sunday is uncertain. Brett Bisping (illness) did not make the trip to Loyola and is not expected to return vs St. Peter’s. Ryan Oliver had a diagnostic scope done on his injured knee and it’s unlikely that he will return this year according to Siena’s sports medicine staff.

St. Peter’s enters the game on a two-game losing streak and having lost 10 of their last 11. Their most recent loss came in a 61-44 loss at Fairfield. The Peacocks are led in scoring by Desi Washington (14.0 ppg.) and Yvon Raymond (10.3 ppg.).
