Imoh Silas is a 6’8″ 210lb PF out of Holderness School in Plymouth, N.H. ESPN states, “Silas blocks shots and really cleans the glass on the defensive end of the floor. He is a strong one-on-one post defender. Offensively he is primarily a dunker who gets the majority of his points by crashing the offensive glass or running in transition. He is a very good shot blocker where he uses his exceptional timing to send back his opponents’ shots. He is a solid athlete that runs the floor well and plays hard at all times. He changes the game defensively with his rebounding and shot blocking skills and is also a good on-the-ball interior defender. His game is very similar to the game of Ben Wallace”.

Robert Poole is a 6’5″ SG out of Paul VI in Haddonfield, NJ. ESPN describes him this way. “Poole is skilled swingman with a very good shooting stroke and terrific size for the perimeter. He shoots the ball equally well off the catch or the dribble, has deep range on his three-point stroke, and the high release to get his shot off with only a small amount of separation from his defender. He picks up some easy points by cutting extremely hard to the rim when away from the ball and is generally a mistake free player who keeps the floor spaced and doesn’t try to do things he isn’t capable of. Poole has good size and skill and a high understanding of the game”.

Marcus Hopper, a 6′ 8″ 265 lb forward from Queens, averaged 12 points and 8.5 rebounds per game during his senior season at Holy Cross High School, while shooting 44% from beyond the arc. ESPN describes Marcus as a big kid with a strong, size frame. will hold his ground and finish right at the rim. Coach Mitch Buonaguro said, “We’re thrilled to get a frontcourt player with the ability to play away from the basket. Marcus is a tremendous person who comes from a great high school program.”

DaVonte Beard is from Akron, Ohio. Beard is a 6’2″ guard who averaged 19 points per game for St Vincent-St. Mary of Akron, Ohio, former high school of Lebron James. He helped lead his team to the Ohio Division Two State Championship and was named second-team all-state. “We are really excited to have DaVonte join the program – he has been a target for us all year,” head coach Mitch Buonaguro said. “He comes from a great program, and adds a great deal of athleticism and scoring ability to our backcourt.”

Evan Hymes, a 5’9″ point guard from Kestrel Heights, N.C. He will add depth to the point guard position He has been described as a super quick point guard with skills driving the lane, very aggressive, and fearless. ESPN’s Dave Telep describes Evan, “He’s not a big kid, but he’s got speed and the ability to get into the lane”. Coach Mitch Buoanguro said. “He will be a very good point guard in our program. He can push the ball and run our transition game, which is exactly what we were looking for.”

Lionel Gomis a native of Dakar Senegal is a 6’9″ 210lb PF out of Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ. His evaluation on ESPN says, “Gomis is a long and athletic big man who plays the game with a great motor. He is active on both ends of the floor, has good feet, gets his hands on a lot of balls, and blocks shots. He is a high volume rebounder who snatches boards in traffic as well as outside of his area. He runs the floor pretty well and finishes plays around the rim. He can make a 15 footer and is also skilled enough to catch and run dribble handoffs away from the basket as well. Physically, he has a strong body with additional room on his frame to support more muscle. Gomis is a well built big man who makes his biggest impact on the defensive end of the floor. His value is likely to always be as a long and active athlete who blocks shots and rebounds the ball”.
