Kenny Wormley Commits To Siena

kenny wormley Siena received it’s first commitment for 2015 when 6-3 guard Kenny Wormley from  Maryland declared Friday night his intention to play for the Saints.

Wormley who plays for Riverdale Baptist High School in Maryland competes with Team Takeover, the same AAU team that Siena rising sophomore Marquis Wright played for. Wormley will likely succeed Wright at the point when Wright graduates in 2017.

Wormley had also received scholarship offers from Florida Gulf Coast and Norfolk State. In addition he had also received interest from multiple other schools including American, Bucknell, George Mason, Kennesaw State, Monmouth, Radford, Rider, Sacred Heart, Texas Tech and UNC-Wilmington.

Wormley has been described as a “true floor general for this crew. He runs the point with poise and makes sure everybody get their touches. He has a smooth handle and very good court vision. He doesn’t try to force the action which is good because he knows how to use his weapons”.
