In Case you Missed it…

We release alot of news via twitter that doesn’t always make its way into a full post. Its not that this news isn’t important, it, we simply prefer to release short news reports via twitter as opposed to a small post. If you don’t already, we’d highly recommend reading the twitter feed located in the sidebar to the right of this page every time you visit the site. That being said, here is a recap of some of the top stories surrounding Siena the past few days:

1. Ryan Rossiter earned AP All American Honorable Mention recognition. Rossiter led the Saints with an 18.7 points per game average and 13.2 rebounds per game, becoming the first MAAC player since 1990 to lead the league in both of these categories. Ryan is the 7th player in Siena history to receive the honor.

2. Former Siena Head Coach Mike Deane is interested in the assistant coach opening at Siena. Deane has sent his resume to Head Coach Mitch Buonaguro.

3. Siena recruiting Target Chavaughn Lewis has committed to the Marist Red Foxes. Lewis was recently scouted by the Saints at the Federations State Championship this past weekend at the Times Union Center and had visited Siena the weekend before.
