Former Siena team mates Kenny Hasbrouck and Ronald Moore recently signed contracts to continue their professional careers playing in the SerieA, Italy’s top league, next season. Hasbrouck will play for Pallacanestro Cantu while Moore will compete for Giorgio Tesi Pistoria.

Hasbrouck recently concluded his 6th professional season playing for Ferrara of the Italian Silver 2 League. He led the league in scoring with 20.4 points per game and  2.1 steals (2nd in league). Hasbrouck led Ferrara to a second place finish with a record of 20-10.

“I’m blessed with a great opportunity to play for a great and storied organization,” said Hasbrouck. “I’m excited to be back in Serie A with some great players! It will be great to finally play against Ron in a real professional game! I’m sure we will be talking a lot of trash but it will be all fun!”

Moore recently wrapped up his 5th professional season playing for JuveCaserta of the Italian SerieA League. He averaged 7.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists (4th in league) and 1.7 steals (3rd in league).

“I am blessed to be going into my 6th pro season,” said Moore. “I am glad to return to Italy and looking forward to having a much more successful season as a team and individually. To add to that, knowing I will go against Kenny will be a lot of fun and some good trash talking (haha).”
